Rainbow of Ribbons.

Satin ribbons of many colours brightened up another grey day, as I wandered through Cambridge Market. I love ribbon and can never throw it away when wrapped around a present. I have a little basket full of lengths of all sorts of ribbon, which my children and grandchildren played with as they learnt their colours. They made bows for Teddies and sashes for dolly dresses, plaited it into their hair, and mine sometimes. Even the toy horse has his mane full of coloured bows. Lovely memories.
