A late breakfast

A very wet day thanks to storm Babet, which had already started when I woke at 6 am. It didn’t ease off sufficiently  until early afternoon for the magpies to arrived for breakfast.

I spent the day sewing and intermittently checking the news to see how the country was coping with the torrential rainfall.
