Storm Babet aftermath

The dyke burst its banks during the night, submerging several houses in the village. We spent 2 hours this morning at someones house, putting everything on their ground floor up on bricks and the water was a few inches deep in their house. After that, off through the deep puddles, through the roads we could get along, to the supermarket... Well-deserved pizza, wine and a film tonight!
