It's Flower Friday Again

Watched the film Wilmington On Fire at the little playhouse. A word from the director. The only coup d'etat in the US. 1898 white supremacists took over and killed or exiled hundreds of black businesses and their owners, merchants and politicians because they felt the freed slaves were too successful. These were not KKK and they did not disguise themselves. At the time there was a slightly higher black population than white too. Not a good mark on the founding fathers or the city.
