A visit from Storm Babet

Stormy weather

Very windy and very wet as Babet caused a severe east wind to blow in, leaving the fence falling over at a 45 degree angle. It would have fallen further if the Summer House had not stopped it. It will need repairing but it will be one of many I suspect.

Many homes in our region were flooded and this will take a long time to recover from. Sadly, three lives were lost in a neighbouring county.

The Storm continues but we are hoping there will be no more damage to our property.
