Double Click!

Mum did well today on the young man front! Despite being nearly seventy years older than these two twenty-year-olds, she had them posing for the camera within 5 minutes of meeting! Craig, to the left, she only met today but she's known Fraser, on the right, since he was a born, although she hasn't seen him for eleven years when she moved away from Pitlochry. So it was a day of 'royal visits' as Mum did her re-acquaintance rounds of old neighbours and friends.

It was the first time I had met Craig too but was able to surprise him by relating how I had been in the same class as his mother from Primary 1 to Secondary 6 at Paisley Grammar School and that, indeed, she had been my 'belle' for the Primary 7 Christmas dance ! His mother is also best friends with another of my subscribers here in Blipland who was honourably mentioned in dispatches; talk about six degrees of separation and all that!

Dinner coming up now with the fifth get together of the day, and Mum seems very energised to see everyone again...I'm beginning to empathise deeply with the Duke of Edinburgh!
