Bad parents

To be fair it's been a very busy and testing day.
Cleaning and tidying to show people round the house this morning. In the process we sprang a leak in the kitchen ceiling - not a good look. Turns out the one we have had our eye on is finally sold too so even if by some miracle we did get an offer it would mean the nightmare of finding somewhere else.
Ellie Mike and Matthew had a nightmare journey here by train. Still they did get here and it could have been much worse.
We fed them and then abandoned them to go into Leeds to see Rodrigo Y Gabriela. Marvellous musicians, a bad phone photo and some very annoying door staff. Still we so nearly cancelled and I'm glad we didn't.
The allotments have flooded but so far only at the lower level where our old plot is. Fingers crossed that the upper level escapes.
And tomorrow is another day.
