Apples and Oranges

By Anitsirk

So... the snow we got yesterday and during the night were still here in the morning. Outside Autumn and Winter were together, and inside we still sell vegetables from Summer and preparing for Spring. :)
I got my cashiers card today, so now I can log in and own up to my own misstakes. :D I did have customers today, but the bosses didn't' have their usual long meeting, because of change of plans, and that felt nice since I've been out of practice for a while.
On Monday I'll be preparing to sow Ginkgo. I have six seeds and we decided that I'll split them and stratify (go through a cold 'storage' before sowing them) half 'unnaturally' in the fridge for 5-8 weeks, and half of them I'll use the season as stratification and they will hopefully wake up in spring. Then we'll sow cacti too from a bag of seeds I brought with me. It'll be fun, since I'm not going to try at home a second time, and the seeds will not go to waste.
My back and my feet hurt after today, and my boss said that next week we'll go and find me a pair of shoes. I've looked through our shoe storage, both used and new and nothing fits my cranky feet. So, it's good to know I'll get a pair that fits me better. :)
But, now it's the weekend and I'm starting it with a sleep in tomorrow morning. Then I have chores.
Last Wednesday I could finally go to my cousins apartment in town. I promised to go once a month, but this last month turned into this month and I got ill, So happy I got there because there were chimney sweaters coming to check the fireplace today, so I was just in time to remove things so they could clean it without problem. I'll go early next month to put everything back in its place.
I'm playing catch up with your journals and I'll continue through the weekend.
