Lincoln Cathedral

MrM needed to deliver a newly-repaired instrument to a customer who lives near Newark. Deed done, we spent most of the day in nearby Lincoln.

An enjoyable day looking round the city - we walked up Steep Hill peering into lovely little independent shops as we went, looked at the castle and cathedral (though we didn't go into either), and found a small cafe at lunchtime for paninis and coffee. We even managed to avoid the one and only heavy shower by calling into a hostelry for a cheeky half.

Home in time for a quick bite to eat before MrM left for a music session in Huddersfield.
