Unexpected drama

Went to community choir with B tonight in Baildon (couldn’t go this afternoon as I had to help with emergency childcare).  A few folk always go to the pub after singing on Thursday, we had just settled down with our drinks when the girl working on the bar came over and asked us to all evacuate the building as a neighbour had just come in to say there was a fire at the back of the pub.  We all headed out (carrying our drinks) and watched the drama unfold.  The fire brigade arrived very quickly and dealt with the blaze in the single storey kitchen at the back of the building.
Thankfully nobody was injured.
We left our glasses on the nearby window sill and headed home.
