Through the window

Horrendous day on the motorways and roads around the East Midlands today.
Not helped by lorries tailgating cars that were sticking to a reasonable speed (40-50mph max) in the dreadful conditions then overtaking at 60mph in lane 3 (4 lane motorway). Just plain dangerous and inconsiderate. I have driven over 2m miles. This was some of the worst conditions I’ve experienced over a long distance. Some side roads were just rivers.
I went to see mum and this was the view of the onset of autumn through the window by the side of her seat.
