I've struck it rich!

Mrs Talpa knows how much I enjoy and admire the work of that great Yorkshire artist the late Barbara Hepworth.

Being the kind and generous soul that she is, Mrs T. has gone and bought me one of Dame Barbara's lesser known works, and it's not even my birthday, let alone our wedding anniversary! What a veritable treasure she is.

Son Talpa, being of a suspicious nature, reckons that it is in fact a piece of flint that his mother has picked up on the beach. The lad has no soul!
