Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Anything you want to tell me?

A bag has appeared, why? It's somebody going somewhere? I'll just check it out and make sure it doesn't go anywhere!

Josie slept well again last night not waking till 8. 45 which was rather nice. Her mum arrived at 9.15 to take her to meet a friend at the local soft play cafe so I got to relax over my coffee.
Next I headed to Dalkeith to drop something off.
I was very glad that we are not in the path of Storm Babet, as I drove through relatively normal October conditions. I do hope all you blippers are doing ok, there are some extraordinary pictures around, especially of coastal areas. I did notice one video of somebody using some kind of windsurfer/sailboard in huge waves and just hoped that he was safe and didn't put any of the emergency services at risk. It seemed rather an ill advised activity to me, who admittedly knows nothing about it.
This afternoon the older granddaughters and daughter dropped on to show off their dances for their forthcoming competitions and concerts, not the daughter I hasten to add. Both were very energetic, Isobel in particular has a very good sense of rhythm and is a very fluid mover.
We're having a quiet evening in, probably trying to find a new TV series to watch.
