The walk

All week I didn't feel like walking anywhere, while we were on our way to complete our long-distance path between Pieterburen (Northern Netherlands) and Echternach (Luxembourg). The part that has not yet been completed, that is.
We arrived in Burg Reuland, where we once had a very pleasant encounter with another cyclist while wine on the Vennbahn on the way home. That link was easily made. We cycle more than we walk and we actually drive via the Vennbahn quite often.
We arrived in Peterskirchen and only there did I feel that I was close to Luxembourg and on my way to the car waiting at the busstop in Lieler. This busstop was the starting point of our hike to Echternach together with the boy, about 20 years ago.
Sweet memories.

We still have approximately 4 kilometres to walk till we reach Lieler tomorrow. But tonight we are staying in a hotel in Ouren. Eat soup, read, sketch and relax. Tomorrow we want to drive home via Signal de Botrange on the High Fens. If it doesn't rain as much as today, we will of course also go for a walk there.
