Waiting his turn

This has been the first day in many, many months when I haven't gone for a walk. The furthest I got to was to my gate which needed to be fixed more securely.

We have had no rain but the very strong winds were a bit of a deterrent so I was forced to do some housework and some cooking for the freezer.

An early appointment tomorrow .... Covid and Flu jags at 8.22am ... need to set my alarm for a time as early as that.

I wasn't expecting many birds to visit this morning but I did have a few sparrows, goldfinches, a chaffinch and they all flew off when the crow moved in.  Shots taken through the window are never the best.
