Water water everywhere

Fair to say it's a tad damp! It hasn't stopped raining since it began last evening .... windy too! No signs it's going to stop any time soon!

We have a lake outside the back gate .... thankfully only inches deep but still growing! It does also mean that the water has made it into the garage on the other side of the square but it shouldn't get too deep .... hopefully it won't drown the car!

That said we have been lucky so far compared with some areas .... do hope everyone is safe!

This little Sparrow seemed to sum up the dreadful weather .... the poor little thing was soaked just trying to get some food ..... it must be so hard for them.

Update - have just seen that Lincolnshire had a month's worth of rain this morning! Apparently we had more rain & for longer than was forecast. Thought it was a bit damp! Lol
