A walking weekend in the Lakes

Hmm. You probably know that I can’t go walking at the moment. I have travelled to the Lakes to be with my walking friends.

Storm Babet is raging. I seriously wondered if I should travel or not. The Norwegian weather app said that the rain would ease in the west…

In the event, my journey was not too challenging. There was water lying on the Military Road, but I know the road well and traffic was light.

The rest of the journey was easy.

Last time I stayed at the Glaramara Hotel it was a glorified youth hostel and good . It has had a major revamp and is now smart and comfortable.
