DRAINAGE SYSTEM ! !

What a Christmas tree as my husband would have said, the blip doesn't quite show you how it works ( or not?) But water draining from the washing machine goes down to a bend then goes straight for about 6 inches ( I don't work in new measurements!) then flows up to another bend then up to pupe that goes to the one at the main drain outside, the same drainage system from the dishwasher, from the reverse side. Then you've got the drainage from the sink as well, so all in all a great system NOT ? However "A" took it to peices cleaned it got all the gung out & put it all back, then a problem 2 leaks needed sealant didn't have any with him leaving me with no sink/ dishwasher or washing machine until Sunday. Can't contact a handyman who had been to me before ( a friend of a friend) ' cos no mobile number, wouldnt you just know it. I can manage just about but not being mobile & having to use a walker it's a real chores taking things into the bathroom & returning them to the kitchen. At "A's" age & 2 knee replacements I didn't want him to do it but he insisted but I could see how awkward it was for him, he's a goer there's no doubt about it. So me having to cope for 48 hours I suppose isn't too bad. What I don't want to do is spill water on the floor & slip 'cos I just wouldn't be able to get up.
