Wild goose chase..

came good and I found the Barnacles! Here they are with Criffel in the background, also clear! The tide has been low so they were not in the fields where it is easier to see them. After a windy day, it is much calmer, dry and pleasantly warm. Saw Barnacle Geese, a murmuration of Starlings over a stubble field and many flocks of small birds being pushed along by the wind.
