Red Record

We walked a slightly different way today and I came across this beautiful tree. It's a riot of red and it was so fabulous that I had to blip it so that I remember it for next year!

No action at the pond but the pelicans are still there! They were slumbering at the edge of the water over on the far side in the weak early morning sun - right where the swans would usually be preening themselves!

A little further on the swans were milling around aimlessly in the water! I'm sure their noses are out of joint!!
