2023 Wednesday — Mr. Fun

I captured this photo almost the first moment I saw him this morning. He was feeling “chipper.” I don’t know what that means but it sounds good. Moments later his doctor was in to see him, told him the swelling was decreasing, and said he’d be staying for at least another night.

Mr. Fun was a little disappointed, but is eager enough to feel better that he was okay with the doctor’s decision.

I encouraged him that he needs to stay as long as they will let him because the meds the hospital gives him are considerably more powerful than what he will be taking once he is back home.
