Birmingham cathedral

In Birmingham for theatre and popped in to the cathedral to see the Edward Burne-Jones windows. Here they are! Currently being restored, a project which has been going on for a while. It’s an unassuming cathedral, a big church really, but historically important. When Birmingham became a bishopric at the beginning of the 20th century, the new bishop decided that he didn’t want to waste money building a new cathedral.
