Elio Pace

Tonight L and I went to the Leicester Square Theatre. Elio Pace and his band were performing two of Billy Joel's albums- Cold Spring Harbor and River of Dreams. Cold Spring Harbor was his first album, released in 1971. He was 21 and it was amazing that someone of that age could write such music and lyrics. Two former members who played on that album back then - the drummer and lead guitarist - supported Elio Pace's band's performance of that album tonight. It was a great show with very talented musicians. In the Blip Elio, on the left, who is a superb pianist, is playing harmonica.
Elio Pace and his band have now performed all twelve Billy Joel albums over the past five years.
