A visit to RWA Bristol

We nipped in the car to the Royal West of England Academy to see the annual exhibition. There are always some interesting pieces and everything includes a price tag if you feel like investing in Art.  I always like to read how it was fabricated because there are so many ways. These ‘Light Blue Irises” were delicately painted in gouache by Cynthia Lear. As usual, I took several pictures but it is never easy to replicate what is seen due to other objects nearby and of course the light in the galleries or just the fact that they are positioned too high up. Yet, despite all this, I love looking.
