Bit of a leisurely start to the day.

Aware that Storm Babet is due to hit tomorrow, we decided to go for a walk after lunch and make the most of the decent weather.  

It was a lovely walk. The girls were lively and good fun and there was lots to see.  Lola and Lily enjoyed it too.  As you can see from the centre photo in the collage, David remains a favourite of the girls :-)

We stopped at the local park before heading home. The play area was completely redone in time for the summer and it really is fabulous.  The girls love it but the best laugh was S getting stuck on the wheelchair accessible roundabout!  The right arm of her chair with the controller on it got stuck under the handle of the roundabout and jammed solid.  I thought I was going to pass out from laughing!  Of course I took lots of photos!  :-)

Once she was free L spun her round and round and that made me laugh even more!  Even the other mums who were on the park bench beside the roundabout were laughing out loud!  :-)

Back home for dinner (sticky Asian salmon for the adults and bangers, chips and beans for the girls followed by mangoes, strawberries, watermelon and ice cream) 

Another lazy evening as we were all shattered.
