Saint Bartholomew looks worried

The Aeolian Islands in Sicily have a special relationship with Saint Bartholomew. As we left the Island of Lipari this morning, after a 3 day stay,  I photographed this statue, with gull, in the harbour front piazza.

It seems that this is my 1,000th blip. I’ve had lots of fun and gained lots of knowledge since joining Blipfoto on New Years Day in 2021.  Many thanks to all my Blipfoto friends for your encouragement.
