Surprise

Well, it's evident where I am and what I am doing. Tain and wine.

It's a good combo.

Earlier today, the arrangements for the next few days got switched around, so we made a spur of the moment decision at lunchtime to jump in the car and come up to Tain. There was a reasonable weather window this afternoon, so we didn't come through too much rough stuff, although there was periodic rain, a lot of water on the road, and gusty winds from time to time. It was longer than usual - around 3 hours 45.

We got here, dropped our stuff, and headed down to the supermarket to stock up. The weather tomorrow looks awful and it's pretty bad this evening, but this place makes for a really cosy hideyhole in winter especially with hot water bottles in the bed!

We're in our happy place. Now I just need to catch up on some work I missed....
