I need a bigger lathe……..

The flange in the middle needs machining off to allow the winch to operate in the conventional manner. It is a long story.
The drum will just go in my lathe chuck but is too large to allow the tool post to move past.
I know a man who has just the machine!
A wet day job for the future.
