Not a whale

It was a brooding and dark morning with clouds to the east and just a strip low on the horizon which was burning brightly. This coal tanker was coming into the harbour against that strip. I was busily snapping away when someone came over and said hello. He was then joined by some other men. Welsh tones reverberated over the rocks (Lions supporters it turned out) and then there was some excitement. They had spotted a breaching whale and wanted to make sure I had seen it because I was pointing the camera in the wrong direction. Lovely chaps but way too far out for a good shot. So this is not a whale.

I saw another group (whales not tourists) later from King Edward park. Whale watching cruise booked for Saturday. Weather is looking threatening so if anyone has some "in" with the weather gods I would appreciate some help.
