Beauty is all around us.

Pansies, White Lilac and Red Rhoddies.

There was a refreshing rain shower this morning as Maria went to college to do her last A Level, which is Sociology.
She is so conscientious, well organised and a good soul.
I am praying she stays calm and gets relevant exam questions from the 24 possible topics.
She had Quaker oats and blueberries and a cup of tea for breakfast and took some snacks for brain food before the 2 hour writing marathon starts at 9am..
The rain has brought out many slugs and snails and I saw a zealous snail literally wrapped around an orange French Marigold I had planted on Saturday.
I am of the school do as little harm as possible, so gone are the days when I used to salt them!
All I have done, advised by a local experienced gardener, Peter, was put small pieces of a garlic clove around the delicate bedding plants and then watered it into the soil.
It seemed to work, but now it is a slug feast out there.
I have used photos of local gardens for my blip and the rain has brought out their lovely bright colours.
Have a good day one and all.
