Smashing

An accurate illustration of the inside of my head this morning.  I managed most of a full day at work thanks to a marathon mindfulness session after lunch that had the desired effect, but still needed to finish a bit early.

I pottered with the workbenchtop until it got dark.  It still needs several holes and insert nuts and things added before I commit to slopping on the creosotey wood preserver.  I invented a way of mounting my mitre saw securely but temporarily, and then made an extension board for it, to support longer pieces of wood.  It too is rough as anything, using up junk pieces of wood and chipboard .  The mallet came in handy for belting all the dowelled bits together.
