Countdown....

After some months spent lounging around enjoying some well earned time away from work, I was in Edinburgh yesterday completing the paperwork for a contract role I have secured. It's only for a short period initially, but as is the nature of these things, there is every possibility it will keep rolling over. Not sure I am looking forward to being inside stuck behind a desk again, but spending days gardening and exploring and photographing the countryside doesn't pay the bills! Unfortunately.

So the countdown is on, just waiting for a start date now, hopefully the sun will be kind and shine for my remaining days of freedom.

This shot is looking down onto the train tracks leading into Waverly Station, with Waverly Bridge in the foreground, and North Bridge behind. That's the Balmoral Hotel on the left with the large clock tower. Traditionally the clock is kept two minutes fast to help ensure you don't miss that train!!!
