Soft and fluffy

We have a variegated miscanthus in the front garden and it’s too near the door and path really, every so often it needs a good haircut. Once the wind and rain get to work it just gets bashed and makes a nuisance of itself.
So today, before the rain started, I did outside jobs and tied it back. We had given it said haircut a few weeks ago and I’d put the soft and fluffy bits in the shed for when I needed a blip.
Today I needed a blip. Out the shed it came and plonked in the nearest thing - the potting table (which is an old garden bench that has a hole in the middle for an umbrella pole).
Anyway, it is now raining, quite persistently I may add.
