Dingwall castle dovecot

… or doocot, as they call them up here!

The old castle is long gone, the stone is found reused in many of the local buildings. This fine Doocot was dismantled from its original site and rebuilt here, although sadly without adequate foundations. It has now developed a distinctly ‘pisarian’ lean.
