Roses for Woodpeckers

I saw these roses at a local shop and thought I'd buy them for Woodpeckers. She did like them and I do too.

The picture was a snap as the light was going and I'm not sure how long roses last when cut. Here's hoping the bright colours cheer us for a few days yet, as the light begins to fade autumn arrives.
