Cheaper by the dozen!

We arrived at Coniston after a nerve racking drive through the low clouds covering the Hardknott and Wrynose passes- very steep, narrow and winding roads going up over the mountains in the Lake District. I wanted to go for a sail on the 'Gondola' a very elegant steam vessel belonging to the national trust- these cute little ducklings were having an afternoon nap by the water's edge. Dad declared 'there's your blip!" so that was decided!
