Waiting out the showers... or not

This was a day of serial cloudbursts. During a sunny break, C begged me to head to the park so he could practice riding his two-wheeler. But no sooner had we arrived and done a couple of spins around the asphalt and the skies opened, dumping down rain.

We ducked under the plastic roof of the play structure for a little bit, pictured here, but C got bored and we got completely drenched, so much so that I worried for my camera riding in my pocket without any heavy waterproofing. Fortunately it survived.
