Brother Sun

Blue skies again this morning, so after a fantastic breakfast (our host had freshly baked three cakes) Mr P and I visited two more churches in Assisi. We walked down to San Damiano and then back up to San Rufino.
We almost missed our connection to Lucca as we got off at the wrong station in Florence, but raced across the station and just made it. My sister and brother-in-law met us in Lucca and we visited a cousin and her family. She had baked and bought more cakes and pastries! My sister cooked us a delicious meal in the evening and now we’re watching the football. It’s not going well for Italy.
