Beacon of Hope…

…snapped this guy on my way through Central Station this morning en route to the low level line to Rutherglen.

Little did I know that he has a connection to where I was headed as he is one of three sculptures by Steuart Padwig created for COP26. Another of the three is situated at Cuningar Loop in the Rutherglen & Hamilton West constituency. The Farme Colliery was situated under Cuningar Loop and our campaign rooms are on Farmeloan Road!

The third of the three is situated in gardens at Strathclyde University.

Every day is a school day! Grateful for the learning.
