Autumn on the canal

Walked down the canal to Shipley to do some shopping rather than getting the train/bus and then caught the bus back with my groceries. The canal looked pretty and it added a few more miles towards my Alzheimer's Research UK October challenge.

Not felt great today - dunno whether it's just tiredness/malaise or I'm coming down with something. Or perhaps a bit of both.

Treated myself to some unusual film, bit of comfort shopping, so I can use an old family camera for the first time in 60+ years. A couple of blippers will probably know what film I'm talking about. It's something to look forward to. Think I'm going to take part in 'Polaroid Week' too... you can use any instant camera these days so I'll be taking pics on my Instax for the first time in a while. As I've thought many times over the last few years, thank god for photography.
