Golden Glows …

… on the way up to the Fenestral Hut having seen the family off to Rome for three days at 03:45 this morning! A couple of extras, such a lovely time of year: Lac Fully and Tour Noir. We also saw 6 ptarmigan from a distance because one of them called their distinctive cry or we would never have seen them! It feels very echoey in the empty house this evening. I shall go and call the cats inside!
