Fair Sabrina
The view from the Wrekin View Room certainly did have a fine view of the Wrekin and the Severn this morning when we woke up.
It’s been a beautiful autumn day with bright sunshine. My cousin’s funeral was a wonderful event. Many people spoke afterwards about how much they enjoyed the eulogy and how it captured her personality. So I’m very satisfied with that. Good to spend a little time with my brother and remaining cousins. Not enough though. We only seem to meet at funerals.
We had a couple of hours in Ironbridge before the funeral which is always enjoyable. It’s a very pleasant little town set in a wealth of significant historical locations although the Severn poses a constant threat of flooding.
Fair Sabrina was flowing at a fast pace today, eager to be somewhere else. And with the threat of rain from Storm Babet might well be higher and more energetic over the next few days. https://www.severntales.co.uk/sabrina.html
