Inbhir Narann

Lovely drive up to Nairn where we are staying for a couple of nights. 

We came by way of Elgin - a town I know very little about.  We had lunch of really good leek and potato soup with toasted bagels in a small cafe and then wandered around for an hour, spending time in their lovely book shop.

We drove along the coast stopping at Burghead and past the base at Kinloss.

We can walk straight onto the beach from our hotel so I did and into the Moray Firth with T holding my dry robe. It was really nice and warmer than Loch Faskally. Afterwards we made use of hotel pool and outside hot tub.  

A lovely start to our mini-break.
