And up she rises!

Referring back to my blip of 11th September and the sunken canal boat, this was a bit of the fun at the Kelpies this misty morning.
We watched as the big crane arrived and set itself up then a diver went down to check under the hull before positioning the two lifting straps. 
Finally, with pumps sucking water out of the hull, the boat was slowly and gently lifted up. 
It was at this point that we had to leave so I don’t know if they managed to lift it completely clear and what they did with it. There was no sign of any trailer or other mounting for the boat but putting it back in the water is obviously not on. The saga continues……..
