The best ever?

We headed up towards Coniston Old Man from the Walna Scar car park. Lots of evidence of the old mine workings, but for slate not copper on this side.
On the way back we stopped in Hawkshead where I saw probably the best ever pillarbox topper. Mrs Tiggywinkle, her washing and a variety of other Beatrix Potter characters.
