Yikes!

Not a squirrel and certainly not a chipmunk; it's a Norway rat!  (The only type of rat we have in Maine.)  I haven't seen one in a few years.  The Back Porch Cafe is closed until further notice.  The last time I saw one there were a lot of apples so the falls must be gathered up at once.  I worry about my cross-road neighbor's chickens too.  Their feed can attract rats.  Just another joy of country living.  Gift#288: John to help with this little "issue".
