Monday closures

MrK had to supervise some deliveries of soil for the outfield this morning, hence why we couldn't go for an overnight somewhere. 
I did a few chores then we drove out towards Sudbury as although we drive through often, we never stop. It seemed a town of two halves, I suppose like a lot of towns these days...a mix of high end independent shops and a lot of empty ones. Many closed on a Monday!
We moved onto Lavenham with its glorious old buildings and magnificent Guildhall...closed on a Monday! Sat outside a lovely pub for food and Malcom, an obviously well known local, joined us for a chat. Had a lovely walk around and so many of the cottages were for rental.
Drove back through some lovely Essex villages. 
FK was apparently at Criccieth beach today.
