Different View

My mobile rang today playing the ringtone 'Talk' by Coldplay. I knew from the ringtone that it was Rowes or a Rowes employee (as in 'Talk' a good job) so I ignored it.
When I got home, early finish day, I took some small pleasure in deleting every Rowes contact from my address book and assigning the ringtone to my current employers.

Elsewhere I read an interesting article in today's paper, relevant to me;
a) Employers have not awarded pay rises or given the absolute minimum - My last pay rise at Rowes was in 2008.
b) In the article the same employers admitted continuing with 'senior manager perks' - company cars, fuel cards, insurance, health care, company mobiles, expense accounts, etc - All sounds depressingly familiar
c) 'Support Staff or Non Productive Staff being made redundant - Say no more

As for me, I go to work with a smile on my face now!!
