Nearly home

The last hour we drive along the Umqua River which has so many different faces.
Shallow and flowing widely spread out over many boulders or, as in this picture, deep and wide, rolling towards the ocean.

The drive home was easy as we shared the driving. We both have enjoyed our weekend. We have been in Ashland many many times, at least once every year besides the covid year. Don was sad that he remembered so little of our former stays.
