Praising the sun

The sun made a brief appearance this afternoon just as I was walking down the Royal Mile. This stag caught my eye, old sculptures are so much more detailed and realistic (even when covered with green patina) and pleasant to look at than modern sculptures.

I felt very much like one of the hundreds of tourists around taking this picture...
